DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a prominent client, the remote DevOps Engineer will drive reliable infrastructure decisions, automate and operate cloud and Kubernetes platforms, and enhance deployment flows while working from 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
Key responsibilities:
- Automate and operate cloud and Kubernetes platforms to improve deployment flows and ensure system reliability
- Implement security measures and observability practices to maintain scalable and maintainable infrastructure
- Utilize modern AI-assisted engineering workflows for analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering
- Strong expertise with AWS services and advanced hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI/CD
- Solid understanding of cloud and container security practices
