DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support software development teams, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer will manage system monitoring, facilitate cross-team communication, and oversee software deployments while creating and maintaining documentation for the software development life cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Support and facilitate communication between development and infrastructure teams
- Organize and execute software deployments, utilizing tools like Jira and Bitbucket
- Research and create proof-of-concepts for new technologies and document processes for future supportability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- At least 5 years of IT engineering experience in an enterprise setting
- Proven experience in CI/CD, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles
- Strong experience with Git or equivalent version control systems
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
