DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Joining an innovative cloud technology organization, the fully remote long-term contract DevOps Engineer will design and maintain deployment pipelines, automation frameworks, and platform tooling to enhance development teams' efficiency in launching and managing applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain deployment pipelines, automation frameworks, and platform tooling
- Build standardized development and deployment workflows to improve engineering productivity
- Manage Kubernetes application deployment processes using GitOps and CI/CD methodologies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure automation
- Previous software engineering experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes and deployment technologies including ArgoCD
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation solutions
- Knowledge of AWS cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code tools
