DevOps Engineer I
Job Summary
To support a rapidly growing technology company, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer I will manage Linux systems administration, automation tools, and cloud services while providing Tier II support and optimizing infrastructure performance.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware and key processes
- Provision and configure hardware and services in accordance with project requirements
- Research and implement automated approaches for system administration tasks
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience with AWS or an AWS Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of Linux systems administration and configuration experience
- Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python or Bash
- Knowledge of automating infrastructure builds utilizing tools such as Gitlab, Terraform, and CDK
