DevOps Engineer IV

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried DevOps Engineer IV will design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, create shared deployment tooling, and enforce security and quality gates while mentoring other engineers and driving improvements in DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins, ensuring fail-fast verification and automated rollbacks
• Create and maintain shared deployment tooling and reusable GitLab CI templates for multiple AppDev delivery teams
• Develop the roadmap for and implement DORA metrics in the program's CI/CD capabilities, while authoring and maintaining deployment documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Git/GitLab in production environments
• Demonstrated experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and/or Jenkins
• Strong working knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration on AWS ECS/EKS/Fargate
• Deep expertise in designing reusable CI/CD templates and Terraform module libraries for multiple teams
