DevOps Engineer IV

Job Summary

To support critical public-sector services, the remote DevOps Engineer IV will design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, create shared deployment tooling, and enforce pipeline security while mentoring other engineers and interacting with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins
• Create and maintain shared deployment tooling and reusable GitLab CI templates for multiple AppDev delivery teams
• Enforce pipeline security and quality gates at the commit/merge stage while developing and implementing DORA metrics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Git/GitLab in production environments
• Demonstrated experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and/or Jenkins
• Strong working knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration on AWS ECS/EKS/Fargate
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in a collaborative Agile/SAFe environment
