DevOps Engineer Level II
Job Summary
To support a critical infrastructure initiative, the remote contract DevOps Engineer Level II will lead the migration of existing ML pipelines to a modern KubeFlow architecture, bridging the gap between engineering and data science while ensuring a robust production lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Migrate existing ML pipelines into a KubeFlow architecture following best engineering practices
- Gather data input/output requirements and break down pipelines into self-contained steps
- Execute the migration using a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach with code-assisting tools
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or MLOps
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Pandas; experience with Bash scripts and Golang is a plus
- Deep hands-on experience with Docker and self-hosted Kubernetes
- Demonstrated experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and formal requirement gathering
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern version control (Git)
