DevOps Engineer - PCI Compliance

Job Summary

To support a growing edtech company, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer - PCI Compliance will manage cloud infrastructure, lead PCI DSS compliance efforts, and build AI-enabled automations to ensure system reliability and security for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance cloud infrastructure, ensuring security controls protect cardholder data
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to facilitate safe and rapid engineering deployments
• Lead PCI DSS compliance initiatives, managing technical controls and collaborating with auditors during assessments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure within a SaaS or cloud-first environment
• Direct experience with PCI DSS audits, including managing technical controls and preparing evidence
• Proficiency in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure, including security services and IAM
• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and modern observability stacks
