DevOps Engineer Team Lead
Job Summary
To support an innovative technology organization, the contract-to-hire DevOps Engineer Team Lead will work remotely in the United States, focusing on building and enhancing deployment systems for cloud-native applications within a Kubernetes-based platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance deployment systems supporting cloud-native applications and platform services
- Design and implement Kubernetes deployment strategies utilizing ArgoCD and internal deployment tools
- Collaborate with software engineers and platform teams to improve developer experience and deployment reliability
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, deployment, and orchestration
- Experience implementing and managing ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments
- Previous software engineering or development experience with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience designing and supporting deployment platforms and CI/CD workflows
