DevOps Migration Lead

Job Summary

Leading the migration of Kubernetes ingress from NGINX to Traefik, the fully remote DevOps Migration Lead will design, implement, and optimize cloud and DevOps solutions while ensuring scalability and reliability for enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current NGINX ingress environments and architect Traefik-based solutions for scalable and secure traffic management
• Lead the migration process from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik, including configuration of ingress rules and traffic routing
• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitHub Pipelines, and Azure DevOps

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in DevOps, CI/CD, cloud operations, and production support
• Proven hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, AKS, GKE, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Demonstrated success in migrating NGINX Ingress to Traefik with full ownership of routing and SSL/TLS configuration
• Experience supporting Informatica PowerCenter/IICS in live environments
• Strong incident leadership and root cause analysis skills
