DevOps Observability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote contract DevOps Observability Engineer will design and implement observability pipelines using tools like OTel, Prometheus, and Grafana while managing AWS infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Design unified observability pipeline and cross-account log aggregation strategy
- Implement OTel Collector, Prometheus, and Grafana on the Golden Cluster
- Build operational dashboards and configure alerting frameworks
Required qualifications
- Experience with OpenTelemetry Collector deployment and configurations
- Proficiency in Prometheus deployment and PromQL
- Strong skills in Grafana dashboard development and data source integration
- Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail configurations
- Experience in log management at scale, preferably handling TB/day
