Job Summary
Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the DevOps Platform Engineer will manage automation solutions, incident response, and reliability engineering to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and reduce operational burden
- Manage incident response processes, ensuring efficient resolution and communication during on-call rotations
- Leverage Site Reliability Engineering principles to design and maintain robust systems, collaborating across teams for operational improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience in IT disciplines
- Strong knowledge of UNIX and Windows Operating Systems, server hardware, and cloud technology
- Experience with automation technology and security best practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, specifically SAFe
