DevOps Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced DevOps Platform Engineer SME for a remote, full-time position focused on designing, building, and optimizing platforms, tools, and processes to enhance the engineering organization's software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical strategy for Developer Experience & Engineering Enablement initiatives
- Architect and implement scalable internal developer platforms and optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance and security
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions and improve developer experiences
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps, DevEx, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
- Proven track record in designing and operating large-scale distributed systems
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Python, or Java
- Experience with CI/CD systems and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus)
