DevOps & Release Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team in a fully remote capacity, the full-time salaried DevOps & Release Engineering Manager will enhance automation, modernize deployment workflows, and improve release governance to facilitate safer and more frequent software releases across various environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, focusing on reliability and automation improvements
• Lead high-risk releases with hands-on problem-solving and manage release planning and coordination
• Recruit, mentor, and develop DevOps and Release Engineering talent while promoting a culture of continuous learning

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in DevOps, release management, or a closely related field
• 3-5 years in a leadership or people-management role
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Experience with deployment automation, release controls, and risk mitigation
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex release issues and drive technical escalation
