DevOps Staff Engineer
Job Summary
To support the IT infrastructure, the remote DevOps Staff Engineer will manage and maintain systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams on cloud operations and DevOps strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security issues
- Manage Windows and Linux servers, applying updates and ensuring system availability
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of related experience, including 4 years in system and network administration
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus
