DevOps Tech Lead
Job Summary
Supporting a growing client in the government technology and cloud services industry, the fully remote DevOps Tech Lead will define the technical vision for Platform Services, architect Kubernetes-based deployment systems, and lead initiatives focused on reliability and automation.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision for Platform Services supporting FedRAMP High and IL5 environments
- Architect and maintain Kubernetes-based deployment systems utilizing Argo CD and GitOps methodologies
- Lead platform engineering initiatives focused on reliability, automation, observability, and operational excellence
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, distributed systems, or cloud operations
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and large-scale deployment platforms
- Strong experience implementing and supporting Argo CD, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD automation
- Prior object-oriented programming experience (Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar)
- Experience supporting FedRAMP High, IL5, or other highly regulated cloud environments is highly preferred
