Job Summary
Supporting secure software delivery in a collaborative environment, the full-time remote DevSecOps Engineer will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, implement automation solutions, and enhance deployment reliability across federal government healthcare technology projects.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application builds, automated testing, packaging, and deployments
- Implement automation solutions for environment provisioning, operational workflows, release activities, and infrastructure support tasks
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release quality, deployment reliability, and software delivery timelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, build and release engineering, systems administration, or cloud operations environments
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar automation platforms
- Experience with AWS cloud services, Linux administration, scripting, and infrastructure automation concepts
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure software delivery practices, and security-focused automation processes
