DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a federal agency client's hybrid cloud infrastructure, the full-time remote DevSecOps Engineer will enhance infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline capabilities, and security practices while managing Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Terraform and OpenTofu codebases for hybrid cloud infrastructure management
• Develop Ansible playbooks for system configuration, compliance, and application deployment automation
• Support containerized application delivery using Docker and Kubernetes while integrating security practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred, or 4 years of relevant professional experience
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or OpenTofu, including module and state management
• Proficiency in Ansible for playbook and role development
• Experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows with security gate integration
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and compliance requirements such as NIST SP 800-53 and FISMA
