DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

As the first DevSecOps Engineer in a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will focus on Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps to ensure system availability, scalability, and security, while managing AWS environments and automating deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and manage Overflow's cloud environment, implementing security best practices and observability frameworks
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated security testing into the developer workflow
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS requirements, partnering with legal and operations teams for security audits and data governance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Platform roles
• Deep hands-on experience with Docker and AWS ECS Fargate
• Extensive experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Practical experience maintaining SOC 2 technical controls and understanding PCI-DSS compliance requirements
