DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a cloud-based FSA IAM system, the full-time remote DevSecOps Engineer will manage the integration of development, security, and operations practices, ensuring the delivery of secure and reliable IAM capabilities through modern cloud-native architecture and Agile processes.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the IAM solution utilizes a cloud-centric architecture that is highly available in an Active-Active configuration
- Lead the delivery of code changes, including unit testing, code reviews, and deployment into production environments
- Contribute to compliance efforts involving security controls, federal records handling, and project management
Required qualifications
- Strong experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proficiency in cloud-native technologies and highly available architectures
- Solid understanding of automated testing and deployment strategies
- Knowledge of federal compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, Section 508)
- Ability to perform system tuning, monitoring, and anomaly detection
