DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

Delivering containerization and cloud engineering solutions, the full-time remote DevSecOps Engineer will manage the development of new container services, sustain existing orchestration systems, and implement security procedures for a large DoD program.

Key responsibilities

• Engineering new container services and supporting system architecture design
• Managing systems resources, including performance, capacity, and security compliance
• Developing and documenting systems administration standard operating procedures

Required qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Minimum of seven years administering and hardening Linux Operating Systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Five years of experience designing and deploying hardened Kubernetes clusters
• Two years of experience with Amazon AWS services, including EKS and EC2
• Ability to obtain Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification within six months of hire
