Job Summary
Supporting federal background investigations, the part-time DHS Licensed Record Searcher will conduct comprehensive record searches and compile investigative information into Reports of Investigation (ROIs) while working remotely and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online and in-person record searches at various authorized sources, including law enforcement agencies and educational institutions
- Retrieve, verify, and document records critical to federal background investigations
- Compile findings into clear and comprehensive Reports of Investigation (ROIs) while ensuring compliance with government standards
Required Qualifications
- Active favorable adjudicated T5, T5R, or HT security clearance
- DHS experience is highly desired
- Experience in conducting background investigations or record searches
- Familiarity with federal regulations and compliance standards related to background investigations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
