DHS Licensed Record Searcher

Job Summary

Supporting federal background investigations, the part-time DHS Licensed Record Searcher will conduct comprehensive record searches and compile investigative information into Reports of Investigation (ROIs) while working remotely and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online and in-person record searches at various authorized sources, including law enforcement agencies and educational institutions
• Retrieve, verify, and document records critical to federal background investigations
• Compile findings into clear and comprehensive Reports of Investigation (ROIs) while ensuring compliance with government standards

Required Qualifications

• Active favorable adjudicated T5, T5R, or HT security clearance
• DHS experience is highly desired
• Experience in conducting background investigations or record searches
• Familiarity with federal regulations and compliance standards related to background investigations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
