Job Summary
Serving as a technical authority for Section 508 accessibility testing, the full-time remote Trusted Tester - Level II (Web Tester & Document Remediation) will perform web accessibility evaluations, document remediation, and provide guidance on accessibility compliance for federal clients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct standardized web accessibility evaluations and hands-on remediation of electronic documents using the DHS Trusted Tester process
- Evaluate Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs), and develop accessibility test plans
- Advise project teams on remediating complex Section 508 defects and provide technical guidance for accessibility training and certification
Required qualifications
- Active DHS Trusted Tester Version 5.0 (or later) Certification
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 4+ years of experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) environments
- 2+ years of web accessibility testing experience using the DHS Trusted Tester process
- 2+ years of experience testing and remediating electronic documents to Section 508 standards
