Job Summary
To support a leading healthcare organization, the contract Digital Accessibility Designer will work remotely to develop interactive design elements, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards for a duration of over one year at 40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and refine wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to enhance user engagement
- Collaborate with teams to translate user research into effective design solutions
- Facilitate design workshops and ensure adherence to accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 AA compliance
Required qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional experience in user experience design with measurable impact
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and current UX methodologies
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch
- Ability to communicate complex design concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working independently across multiple teams in Agile/scrum environments
