Digital Archivist
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic research team, the full-time Digital Archivist will manage digital assets within Preservica, perform quality control audits, and assist with metadata needs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the Associate Level Preservica Manager, ingesting and managing assets in the platform
- Perform auditing and quality control of content to ensure uniformity and quality across the platform
- Triage collections for digital preservation and define specific metadata needs
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Library and Information Science or enrollment in MLS with relevant work experience
- 2-4 years of experience in digital asset management systems
- Experience with Preservica or other archival digital asset management systems
- Familiarity with metadata schemas such as METS, DC, MODS, and others
- Ability to work independently
