Digital Communications Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance the Senate Sergeant at Arms' digital presence, the full-time salaried Digital Communications Specialist will manage and improve digital content across platforms, focusing on content creation, strategy development, and user experience in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Write, edit, publish, and maintain accurate and accessible content for SAA digital platforms
• Develop and uphold content strategies and governance standards to enhance digital communications
• Organize content and structure information to improve navigation and user experience across digital resources

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED with five to seven years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's degree with three to five years of experience
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
• Experience managing content within SharePoint or similar digital publishing platforms
• Knowledge of web content management principles and user-centered design
• Ability to analyze data and audience feedback to improve digital content effectiveness
