A company is looking for a Digital Curation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of digital assets and maximize their discovery through metadata and taxonomy governance
• Handle day-to-day platform settings and e-configuration builds within existing systems
• Advise and guide the team on the responsible and effective use of AI tools to improve efficiencies

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field and a minimum of at least 1-3 years of combined education, training, and relevant experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of generative AI tools in resource collection, curation, and information services settings
• Proficient understanding and ability to communicate and stay current on laws impacting digital libraries
• Working knowledge of Ex Libris systems (Alma, Primo VE), and digital asset management (DAM)
• Proficient with data management, taxonomy, metadata standards, and information architecture
