Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics Consultant, the full-time position will involve investigating cybersecurity incidents, conducting digital forensic analyses, and managing Threat Actor communications and negotiations, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct digital forensic investigations and prepare detailed incident reports for non-technical audiences
- Manage communications and negotiations with Threat Actors during ransomware or extortion incidents
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR)
- Strong knowledge of digital forensics tools and techniques
- Experience with incident response frameworks such as NIST or SANS
- Demonstrated experience in Threat Actor communications and crisis negotiations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or a closely related field
