Digital Forensics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Digital Forensics Engineer to support cybersecurity operations through advanced digital forensics and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced digital forensic analysis and investigations related to cybersecurity incidents and insider threats
• Collect, preserve, analyze, and document digital evidence in compliance with federal forensic standards
• Support incident response activities by analyzing telemetry and reconstructing attack timelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital forensics, cyber investigations, or SOC environments
• Hands-on experience with forensic analysis tools such as EnCase, FTK, and Velociraptor
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and NIST cybersecurity standards
• Experience with e-discovery and legal investigation activities
