Digital Learning Librarian

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, dynamic Digital Learning Librarian to lead library services and asynchronous learning support for a large online community, focusing on information literacy, instructional resources, and student engagement in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess virtual library services and instructional resources to promote academic success and information literacy
• Collaborate with instructors and cross-functional teams to integrate library resources into online courses and programs
• Manage and improve library websites, ensuring content is user-centered and aligned with institutional needs

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Library Science (MLS), or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program
• Experience designing and delivering online instruction and virtual library services for remote learners
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging instructional content and learner-centered support resources
• Strong technology skills and the ability to manage multiple digital platforms
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote work environment
