Digital Learning Librarian

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, dynamic Digital Learning Librarian to lead library services and asynchronous learning supports for a large, self-paced online community, focusing on information literacy, digital fluency, and student success in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess virtual library services and instructional resources to enhance student research skills and academic success
• Collaborate with academic teams to integrate library resources into courses and support initiatives that improve learner engagement and persistence
• Maintain and improve library websites, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with institutional needs

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Library Science (MLS), or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program
• Experience designing and delivering online instruction and virtual library services for remote learners
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging instructional content and learner-centered support resources
• Strong technology skills for managing multiple digital platforms and systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a remote work environment
