Job Summary

Seeking a passionate Digital Manufacturing Software Engineer, the remote contract position will focus on designing and developing responsive industrial web applications, extending Ignition components, and integrating applications with various industrial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive industrial web applications using Ignition Perspective and supporting web technologies
• Extend Ignition components with JavaScript, CSS, and Python scripting to meet complex operational requirements
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to translate workflows into digital solutions

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with web UI development concepts, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
• Proficiency in Python scripting for application logic and automation
• Solid experience working with SQL databases and relational data models
• Experience integrating external systems using REST APIs or web services
• Ability to design maintainable, modular software solutions
