Job Summary

A company is looking for a Digital Matte Painting Artist in the Games department.

Key Responsibilities:

Create digital paintings of photo-realistic environments based on concept art and/or photo reference
Collaborate with the art team to develop high-quality matte paintings and set extensions
Assist in integrating matte paintings into 3D environments and work closely with 3D artists

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Digital Matte Painting with 2+ years in game development
Shipped at least 2 games in a Digital Matte Painting role, preferably AAA titles
Strong knowledge of matte painting techniques, Photoshop, and 3D integration
Understanding of light, color, perspective, and matte painting pipelines
Expertise in Photoshop, with additional experience in game engines and other software as a plus
