Digital Physical Design Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in digital and mixed signal ASIC design, the full-time Sr Digital Physical Design Engineer will manage the physical design and tape release processes from RTL to GDS, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in full ASIC design activities, including definition, architectures, digital logic design, and IP validation
• Oversee floor planning, PNR, timing closure, STA, formal verification, and physical verification
• Interface with industry foundries for GDS delivery and develop tool flows to meet project milestones

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering
• Typically, 20 years of relevant experience with industry tapeout experience
• Proficiency in Innovus, Tempus, Voltus, and Genus
• Strong fundamentals in ASIC design, DSP, and verification of large mixed signal ASIC designs
• Leadership skills to influence teams and partners towards higher levels of execution
