Job Summary
To support the development of cutting-edge digital and mixed signal ASICs, an experienced Digital Physical Design Engineer will work full-time, remotely or onsite, managing the physical design and tape release processes from RTL to GDS while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in all ASIC design activities, including definition, architecture, digital logic design, and IP validation
- Manage floor planning, PNR, timing closure, STA, formal verification, low power design, and physical verification
- Interface with industry foundries for GDS delivery and develop tool flows to meet project milestones
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering
- Typically, 15 years of relevant experience with extensive knowledge in ASIC design
- Industry tapeout experience and familiarity with Innovus, Tempus, Voltus, and Genus
- Experience in task automation and scripting
- Strong fundamentals in ASIC Design, DSP, and digital architectures/systems
