Digital Taxonomist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Taxonomist to join their content and product operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and metadata structures across platforms
• Act as the point of contact for content-related issues, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders
• Audit and assess the quality of machine learning outputs, and design content workflows for consistency

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in taxonomy, content strategy, or information architecture
• Strong knowledge of content management systems, preferably WordPress
• Proficiency in metadata standards and structured content frameworks
• Hands-on experience with taxonomy tools, such as PoolParty
• Familiarity with machine learning models and content analytics
