Job Summary
Supporting Corning's Digital & Information Technology organization, the full-time Digital Technology Counsel will negotiate and advise on information technology agreements while providing counsel on digital, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI-related matters, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and review various information technology-related agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Provide legal advice on digital and information technology matters, including cybersecurity and data governance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal issues arising from technology initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with strong expertise in negotiating and drafting technology agreements
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to information technology, cybersecurity, and data governance
- Experience advising on legal issues involving privacy and regulatory matters in a corporate environment
- Interest in emerging legal issues related to AI and digital technologies
