Direct Bill Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Direct Bill Analyst will ensure the accurate and timely processing of direct bill statements and deposits while collaborating with account teams and service leaders to resolve transaction discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and upload required statements, follow up on triage items, and ensure timely posting of items
• Process and post 100% of assigned deposits within established time frames and communicate on incomplete items
• Investigate auto-tagged items, resolve outstanding items older than 3 days, and maintain clear documentation of actions taken

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education/experience
• Insurance industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Applied Epic, Vertafore BenefitPoint, Ascend, and other direct bill reconciliation platforms is a plus
