Director Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Accounting for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fully own the accounting function including all operational, project accounting, financial reporting, and tax responsibilities at both the operating and technical levels
• Manage the full cycle General Ledger close process for month-end, quarter-end and year-end, to ensure accounts are properly reconciled, reviewed, and reported in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience across public accounting and high-growth startup
• CPA or equivalent
• Experience implementing Systems (ERP, Payroll, PR/PO, T&E)
