Director Commercial Supply Chain

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Commercial Supply Chain to assist in developing and implementing the commercial supply chain strategy for its first anticipated product to market.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor selection and management for the commercial supply chain
• Lead RFP planning and oversee packaging qualification processes
• Develop and manage supply plans in coordination with production schedules and sales forecasts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in transitioning supply chain functions from clinical to commercial launch
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning and inventory management
• Experience with supplier and vendor management, including contract negotiation
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry
