Director Communications

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Synthesize strategic priorities into a messaging framework and ensure consistency across external communications channels
• Develop and implement editorial calendar to highlight thought leadership and impact
• Create targeted communications plans, track impact, and advise on thought leadership agenda

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in leading multi-faceted communications plans
• At least two years of people management experience
• Portfolio of at least two writing samples, including an op-ed or speech
• Knowledge and experience in education, policy, and advocacy preferred
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish preferred
