Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering & Data Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the data engineering and data operations teams, setting strategic direction and driving execution of data initiatives
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions to support growing data needs
• Oversee data governance and data operations to ensure high data quality, reliability, and compliance

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in data engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala, and familiarity with front-end technologies for data visualization
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and lead teams
