Director North American Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, North American Compliance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation, maintenance of corporate compliance activities, focusing on U.S. compliance policies and pharmacy regulations
• Provide legal analysis and recommendations on compliance rules and regulations for business strategies
• Lead Global Compliance Steering Committee and assist in developing annual training

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and JD, admission to and good standing with at least one state bar
• 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare legal/compliance/internal audit field
• Understanding of compliance issues in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries
• Demonstrated knowledge of compliance program requirements, OIG Guidance, and Federal Sentencing Guidelines
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
