Job Summary

Providing leadership and oversight for academic advising services, the full-time salaried Director of Academic Advising will manage a centralized advising unit, ensuring alignment with student success initiatives and overseeing a diverse team of advisors across multiple modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive advising strategy to support student progression and timely degree completion
• Utilize data and analytics to monitor advising effectiveness and improve student success metrics
• Supervise and mentor a team of professional academic advisors, fostering a collaborative and student-focused culture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Three to five years of professional experience in academic advising or a related area within a college or university setting
• At least three years of experience supervising or leading professional staff or teams
• Demonstrated knowledge of academic advising practices and student development theory
• Experience using data to inform decision-making and assess student outcomes
