Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting functions and ensure timely financial reporting
• Coordinate annual audits and maintain compliance with GAAP and regulations
• Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring strategic alignment and accountability

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in nonprofit accounting
• Experience with 990 audits and fund accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software, CRM (Salesforce), Google Suite, and Excel
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams
