Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Assistant Controller to oversee the finance team and manage accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with US GAAP for accurate financial reporting
• Lead post-acquisition financial integration efforts and ensure alignment of accounting policies
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to enhance performance and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 6 years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills
• Big 4 public accounting experience combined with industry experience preferred
