Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to manage and build the accounting function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Run a fast, accurate monthly/quarterly/annual close across US and international entities
• Own revenue recognition and maintain reconciled balance sheet accounts
• Oversee tax filings, payroll, compliance processes, and audit preparations

Required Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in accounting/finance, including Big 4 and startup experience
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
• Strong experience with NetSuite
• Experience with multi-entity and cross-border structures
• Ability to work with technical teams and translate accounting requirements
