Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Lead revenue recognition under ASC 606 and serve as the internal expert for technical accounting research
• Oversee daily operational accounting activities, including accounts payable, expense management, and payroll processing

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior accounting leadership experience in a technology or SaaS company with over $50M in revenue
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606, with experience in recurring revenue/SaaS business models
• Previous experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm and an active CPA license are preferred
