Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to lead a team and oversee financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of 15+ accounting professionals and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Oversee month-end close processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
• Implement process improvements and automation in accounting practices to enhance efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience
• Experience with publicly traded companies or Big 4 public accounting
• Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
