Director of Accounting

Job Summary

Seeking an execution-focused Director of Accounting, this full-time remote position will manage accounting operations, monthly close processes, treasury, tax, audit, compliance, and finance systems to support the company's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Oversee AP, vendor management, cash management, and treasury operations to maintain strong financial governance
• Drive automation and process improvements across accounting operations while managing external audit coordination and compliance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and audit management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems and finance process automation, preferably Sage Intacct
• Proven ability to lead audits and manage relationships with external advisors
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
